Due to the sucess of the exhibition at the Melina Mercouri Hall, Nicosia photoCyprus has decided to open the Awards 2010 Exhibition for the second time. Giving an opportunity to our members, friends and family to see the beautiful images produced by our members in our first year as a community.

The Awards 2010 exhibition is now open at Gallery Zo, Paralimni from now until the 6th of May.

The 5th of December was the day of the Akamas Adventure! And an adventure it truly was. Some people decided to ‘get back to Nature’ and camp out the night before, in a beautiful little camping site in Polis. The rest of us made our way to the Aphrodite Bath to meet and begin the trail. It was an early start and many things for us all to see but we were all well prepared and really exited. After we all met some new faces we plied in to the convoy, 5 car strong...

CPS has been forced to change the date of their print EXHIBITION

due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Costas, along with a few of our other members took part in Cyprus' biggest Annual print Competition which is run by the Cyprus Photographic Society (CPS) Nicosia branch.

Our plan is to travel to Karavostasi, north west of Morphou in Northern Cyprus. The site we intend to visit is an old copper mine, which was closed during the troubles in the 74. It is currently owned by the American Mining Corporation (AMC), but is inactive. It is an open mine, so no tunnels. Following the visit to the mine, and time allowing, we will then go to the coast...
